Your Path to Joining Us
With a great team in place, we’re confident in our ability to achieve our ambitious goals. That’s why finding talented, value-driven individuals is key for us. We’re committed to keeping you informed and making your recruitment experience a positive one. Here’s how we find the right fit for the role.
Start by submitting your application through the link in the job posting, unless otherwise noted in the job posting. Our HR team will then review it, which usually takes about two to three weeks, depending on the number of applications and how long the posting is open.
Short-listed candidates will receive an email invite for a 10-minute phone screen with HR, where we’ll discuss the role and answer your questions.
We’d love to learn more about you through our interview process. Typically, you’ll have two rounds: first with the Hiring Manager and then with a panel of two to three people. Interviews include situational and behavioural questions and can be virtual or in-person.
Note: In some cases, an assessment may be required as part of the interview process (i.e. for more technical roles). If an assessment is required, information will be provided as early in the recruitment process as possible.
After interviews, the Hiring Manager and HR will choose the best candidate for the role. If you’re not selected, HR will let you know. Even if it’s not the right time, stay connected and keep an eye on our Careers page for future openings
The Hiring Manager will give a verbal offer, followed by a written one via email. We’ll check references, and once you accept, we’ll celebrate and kick off the onboarding process!
Although we strive to maintain a consistent candidate experience for all roles we are recruiting for, due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the recruitment process, there may be slight deviations to the standard process.
Sunnybrook Foundation is a proud equal opportunity employer. If you require an accommodation at any point during the recruitment process, please contact the HR team at foundationhr@sunnybrook.ca.
