Throughout the year, Sunnybrook Foundation conducts telefundraising campaigns to engage with our valued donors and provide updates on the latest research and developments at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Telefundraising is a cost-effective way for us to connect with our supporters and raise vital funds for priority programs that do not receive government funding.

Meet Our Telefundraising Team 

Sunnybrook partners with professional telefundraising agencies that strictly adhere to the telemarketing guidelines set by the CRTC. These teams are well-versed in Sunnybrook’s mission and are passionate about sharing how your support helps us provide exceptional care to patients and their families during their most challenging times. 

How Can I Verify a Fundraising Call? 

Your security is our priority. Our telefundraising partners only contact individuals who have previously supported Sunnybrook. Calls may include thank-you messages after a donation, confirmation calls following face-to-face canvassing, or updates on exciting new hospital research and innovations in patient care. If you ever have concerns about the legitimacy of a call, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. 

Text Message (SMS) Updates

As part of our commitment to keeping our supporters informed, Sunnybrook occasionally sends text messages (SMS) with updates on our latest research, hospital developments, and news about your monthly donations. These messages come from Ontario-based phone numbers. If you prefer not to receive SMS updates, simply reply with “STOP” or contact us at foundation@sunnybrook.ca to opt out.
