Sunnybrook Events

Sunnybrook and RBC have partnered to host RBC Race for the Kids, which raises funds for the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook. This unique, donor-funded program helps families who have a young person (aged 11-29) suffering from mental health and/or addiction challenges, find the help they need, when they need it.

The Women’s Health Golf Classic tournament has a long history of raising support for Women’s Health initiatives at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre. Over the past 21 years, the tournament has raised an incredible $4.8 million, helping to pave the way for new and transformative technologies, treatment options, and patient care programs that allow Sunnybrook researchers and clinical teams to provide personalized care for cancer patients.

The Ride for Project Saving Legs™ is an exclusive cycling event to challenge intermediate and advanced cyclists, taking participants through the heart of Niagara wine region in support of Project Saving Legs™ at Sunnybrook. This event will bring together a small and intimate group of avid riders to a 75km course beginning and ending at Vineland Estates Winery.

In Canada, one in seven men will develop prostate cancer during their lifetime. The Prostate Health Classic, started in 2018, was launched to help fund world-class research led by Dr. Robert Nam and push the limits of what’s possible in prostate cancer care at Sunnybrook.

Join us at the Horseshoe Resort where teams of 2 to 10+ members will come together to take on the challenge of climbing 29,092 feet (height of Mount Everest & equivalent to 96 times the height of Horseshoe Mountain). All of this is to raise significant funds for our charitable partners!

Join us at the Leaside Curling Club for a women’s curling event that works to be the very best one-day bonspiel in the GTA! Since 2019, we have had over 20 curling clubs represented and have fundraised almost $250,000 for the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Join the second annual Luce on the Links at the Lambton Golf and Country Club, located in the heart of Toronto amidst the tall oaks and rolling green space of the Humber Valley. With 27 holes of Rees Jones designed championship golf, 5 year-round har-tru tennis courts and a modern and inviting clubhouse, the state-of-the-art facilities make it easy to forget that Lambton is a club with more than a century of rich tradition and memories. We look forward to a fabulous day on the greens (with great prizes!), followed by a relaxed vibe at dinner as you sample delicious offerings in a food station format. 

Riders of all abilities are invited to join the second annual Luce Ride on June 22, 2025, at the beautiful Hockley Valley Resort. Vito Barbera of B1 Gruppo is bringing decades of experience to bear in organizing two spectacular routes through the rolling hills of Mono Township. 

Join the fifth annual Crush it with Bev Golf Tournament! Hosted at the beautiful Copper Creek Golf Club in Kleinburg, ON, this is sure to be a great day on the greens in support of lung cancer care at Sunnybrook. Your support makes a tangible difference for Sunnybrook’s dedicated lung cancer specialists and their patients like Bev. Please join us to advance lung cancer progress.

Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival on September 12, 13, 14, 2025 

On Sunday, September 14, at Cobble Beach Golf Resort and Community there will be a stunning array of international automobiles featured along with special guests. All in support of Sunnybrook Foundation’s Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Centre and Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation campaigns.

Musicians include Jonathan Dinklage, Jacob Moon, Nina DiGregorio, Brody Dolynuik, Chris Herin, David Barrett, Adi Berk and “house band” Moving Pictures (UK). Other participants include Kevin J Anderson Line-up subject to change.
